Ann Pagnotta, MBA, RVT
Ann manages our staff, addresses client questions and concerns, performs most of our dental procedures, and grooms cats (and the occasional dog when needed) Ann has several degrees, most of which are not pertinent to veterinary care. (Masters in Business Administration in 1989 from Boston University, Boston, Mass and RVT 1999 CCCC). She is also the rescue group resource person for New Hope. She is very involved in animal rescue and does not like to say how many rescued animals live with her.
Sue
Sue has been at NHAH since 2007, after working for more years than she wants to say in emergency/ICU veterinary care. She has 10 dogs and cats, 3 horses and one rescued cow. When she is not at New Hope she manages a small equine boarding and training farm.
Lori
Lori moved to Durham from Charlotte (where she worked in emergency veterinary care) in 2007. Her husband is finishing his degree in theology at Duke. Lori is considering applying to Vet school, and meanwhile stays busy with us and with her work with local animal rescue groups.
Mary Jane
Mary Jane is the newest member of the NHAH team. She recently moved to the area with her boyfriend, a graduate student at UNC. Mary Jane has been working with animals for the past 5 years and has two cats- Tiramisu & Vinnie.
Reception:
Heather
Heather came to us from the Durham APS, after having been one of our clients previously. She keeps us all organized, answers questions all day long, and is still patient at the end of the day. She has been with NHAH since 2007, and has 3 rescued animals at home.
Animal Care Staff:
Stephanie
Stephanie has been with NHAH since 2007. Because she is at the clinic Mon-Fri she helps to provide consistent care to our boarders. She has 2 dogs at home (and a young daughter).
Eric
Eric started with NHAH in 2007. Eric works with the animals in the kennel and loves to play outside with them. He is currently enrolled part-time in a veterinary technician program and hopes to graduate in 4 years. Eric has a dog and a cat.
Jake
Jake is also a student (at Durham Tech). He is completing pre-requisites to transfer to NC State in 2 years, where he will finish his bachelor's degree. He has a new rescue dog at home and has been with New Hope since 2008.
