Dr. Soren Windram

Soren has been with New Hope Animal Hospital since 2003.  He spent the previous 6 years (1997-2003) practicing at the local emergency and critical care hospital here in Durham, before the birth of his first daughter led him toward a more regular daytime schedule.  Soren graduated from Duke undergrad in Biomedical Engineering and then from Michigan State University's College of Veterinary Medicine in 1996.  He enjoys spending his time off with his two-legged and four-legged children.  Occasionally he has been known to swim, bike and run as well.

Dr. Kay Bishop

Kay Bishop graduated from North Carolina State University with a BS in Zoology in 1995, and a DVM in 1999.  She takes care of all of our exotics and pocket pets, as well as our canine and feline friends.  She is also New Hope's dental specialist.  Kay has rescued, cared for and placed a multitude of bunnies, ferrets, birds, guinea pigs and dogs and cats.  In addition to her furry, scaled and feathered friends at home, she lives with two daughters and a very tolerant husband.  She has been a member of the New Hope staff since 2007.
