What To Expect During A Wellness Exam

What to Expect When You Bring Your Pet to New Hope Animal Hospital for a Wellness Exam?

Your furry friend should receive a pet exam at least once a year in order to maintain their good health. The staff at New Hope Animal Hospital believes that regular exams help us to provide the most comprehensive care for your pet. Having a regular baseline of your pet's health and wellness can help us to spot any problems in their earliest stages when they are most effectively treated.

We will make a thorough examination of their skin and coat, teeth and gums, and check their limberness and gait. Your pet's weight and temperature will be measured. We will also examine their eyes and ears, as well as palpate their internal organs. When necessary, we will recommend diagnostic testing such as blood work and x-rays. Please bring a recent stool sample from your pet with you to the wellness exam.

Services Offered
